Paul Seldes runs ntb group's homeland security and emergency management operations practice. With over 30 years of experience in public safety, security and technology, Paul has been instrumental in a number of technology and business service startups, including Savant, LLC, Celeriti and Global Learning Systems.

Paul Seldes is an experienced emergency management consultant and trainer with extensive expertise in operations, planning and logistics and over 30 years of experience in the emergency management, technology, and financial industries.

He has extensive experience in emergency management planning and operations in Florida where he has worked with numerous county and city governments, including Brevard County, Indian River County, St Lucie, County, Martin County, Volusia County, the City of Fort Lauderdale, and Duval County/City of Jacksonville.

Paul is a member of the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) and holds an FPEM (Florida Professional Emergency Manager) certification, the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and a reservist with Florida’s State Emergency Response Team (SERT).

In 2001, Paul was a survivor of and then responder to the attacks on the World Trade Center. He served at Ground Zero for 9 months, initially as a coordinator with search and rescue operations and later in a logistics and operations coordination role.

In 2005, Paul served as a logistics officer for a medical strike team sponsored by RICE International Relief Corp in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina.

Paul has also served as the regional mass care officer for 2 Florida counties during hurricanes Jeanne and Frances in 2004 coordinating multiple ESFs and agencies. He has spent countless hours supporting, managing, and coordinating Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) across the US.

In 2008, Paul provided operations support to the New Orleans EOC in advance of Hurricane Gustav.

Paul makes his home in Vero Beach, playing golf and attempting to break 100. Paul holds a Florida Professional Emergency Manager certification from the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association and a CHS-III certification from the American College of Forsensic Examiners.

Paul serves on the advisory board of the Indian River County VOAD is an active Red Cross volunteer and is an ambassador with the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce.
